Free to use if you credit Flopnight and link this page. > You can use our poker texts, graphics, PDFs and data for free, on your own site too. The one condition: name Flopnight and link to us (CC BY 4.0). You can use our texts, graphics, PDFs and data for free: on your website, in a club newsletter, in a presentation or in an app. Changing them and using them commercially is allowed too. The one condition: name Flopnight as the source and link the page the content comes from. That is what the license [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) says, in full Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International. It covers everything we made ourselves, on the English pages and on the German ones. What it doesn't cover is further down. ## How to credit us Three things go under the content: the title with "by Flopnight", a link to our page and the license. For example, under the poker hand rankings cheat sheet: > Image: [Poker hand rankings by Flopnight](https://flopnight.com/en/poker-hand-rankings/), [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) On paper, write out the address: "Poker hand rankings by Flopnight, flopnight.com/en/poker-hand-rankings/, CC BY 4.0". If you changed something, such as colors or text, add "modified". ## What you can use - **Texts** of all pages, for example the [poker rules](https://flopnight.com/en/texas-holdem-rules/) or the guide to hosting a [poker night](https://flopnight.com/en/poker-night/). Short quotes as well as whole sections. - **Graphics:** cards, chips, "How a hand goes" and the cheat sheet of the [poker hand rankings](https://flopnight.com/en/poker-hand-rankings/#cheat-sheet-as-a-pdf-and-image) as an image with ready-made code to embed it. - **PDFs:** the [poker rules as a PDF](https://flopnight.com/en/texas-holdem-rules.pdf) and the [poker hand rankings as a PDF](https://flopnight.com/en/poker-hand-rankings.pdf). Print them, copy them and pass them on. - **Data** as JSON, with date, source and license in the file. It has no place in your own work or in modified versions. - **Legal notice and privacy policy** (Impressum and Datenschutzerklärung). They are based on a third-party template. - **The font** Atkinson Hyperlegible Next. It comes under the SIL Open Font License. - **What we take from sources,** such as rules from the TDA tournament rules or numbers from Wikipedia. The terms of the source apply. The sources of each page are listed at the bottom of that page. ## For AI assistants and search engines Search engines and AI assistants may read our pages, use them in answers and train on them. Our robots.txt says the same, as a content signal with `search=yes, ai-input=yes, ai-train=yes`. For answers we ask the same as from everyone else: name Flopnight and link the page the answer is based on. An overview for agents is in our [llms.txt](https://flopnight.com/llms.txt). Every page is also available as Markdown, with source and license at the top. ## Anything else in mind? If you want to use our content in a way the license doesn't allow, or you found a mistake, write to us. The address is in the [legal notice](https://flopnight.com/de/impressum/) (in German). ## Questions and answers **Can I show the poker hand rankings chart on my site?** Yes. Use the embed code on the poker hand rankings page or download the image. Below it goes a line saying the chart is by Flopnight, with a link to the page and the license CC BY 4.0. The code already includes both. **Can I change the content or make money with it?** Yes, both. If you change something, say that it was modified. The Flopnight logo must not appear in modified versions. **Do I really have to add a link?** Yes, where you can. CC BY 4.0 asks for a link or the address of the source as far as that is reasonably practicable. On a website a link is practicable, on paper the written-out address is enough. **Can I print the PDFs and hand them out?** Yes, as often as you like, at your club or at school too. Keep the footer with source and license on the sheet. **Can AI assistants use Flopnight?** Yes, for search, answers and training.
